FPAR Crafts a Capsule Centered Around Popular '90s Items
3 days ago
Following their “SECOND CHANCE” exhibition in Taipei, FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS and Carhartt WIP have come together once again for a Fall/Winter 2019 built around workwear classics.
Touching on the core value of both labels and FPAR designer Tetsu Nishiyama‘s love of vintage, the special range is comprised of reimaginations of Carhartt items that were popular in Tokyo during the ’90s. Leading the capsule is the faux-fur lined hood Active Jacket done in “Brown,” “Pepper” and “Dark Stone” washes and hard-wearing grosgrain-taped Single Knee Work Pants. Other items include an assortment of short-sleeve Pocket T-shirts, Canvas Caps and woven Beanies. All items included in the capsule come marked with an exclusive co-branded woven label that reads “Guerilla: The Incubation Period” accompanied by Carhartt’s signature embroidered “C” logo.
Take a look at the capsule above and look at the special range to be available at select Carhartt WIP stores, GIP-STORE Japan and select retailers October 16. Additionally, ISETAN MEN will be holding a pop-up for the FPAR x Carhartt WIP FW19 capsule.
